CELEBRATE THE HUNTER VALLEY’S FINEST FOOD & WINE AT HUNTER HARVEST
Westfield Kotara will once again be transformed into a gourmet lover’s paradise on Saturday 2 September 2017 as Hunter Harvest, the pop-up food and wine event takes centre stage and celebrates the Hunter’s premium wineries, breweries and local food producers. Showcasing the region’s acclaimed food and wine producers, Hunter Harvest is the perfect opportunity for customers to experience a range of the Hunter Valley’s finest wineries who will be offering tastings direct from the cellar door just in time for Father’s Day.
Some of the wineries confirmed include Margan Family Wines, Tulloch Wines, Pepper Tree Wines, Comyns & Co, Tempus Two, Meerea Park, Allandale Winery, Glandore Estate Wines, Briar Ridge and Tamburlaine Organic Wines to name just a few. There will be plenty on offer for Father’s Day with Murray’s Brewing Co and Peterson Cider House offering a range of beers and ales for dads to try as well as Uprising Bakery who will be showcasing their latest product range for the home.
For the wine enthusiast there are a number of unique wine appreciation workshops happening throughout the day including an organic wine and chocolate masterclass with Tamburlaine Organic Wines, a bubbles workshop with Peterson House, a varietal masterclass with Margan Family Wines, a wine flight workshop with Allandale Winery or a varietal snapshot with Pepper Tree Wines winemaker Alex Duff. Or if perfecting your culinary skills is more your thing, join Il Cacciatore Restaurant at its gnocchi making demonstrations taking place in centre court.
