IN CONVERSATION WITH KERRIE MCCALLUM, editor-in-chief delicious. magazine


House of Airlie recently partnered with local business networking group, the Gen Collective on its September event which was an intimate evening of great food and wine with editor-in-chief of delicious.magazine, Kerrie McCallum at The White Room in Newcastle.  Director of House of Airlie, Stephanie Airlie-Noé was excited to be MC for this event and Kerrie shared an insightful story about her career journey and life in media and publishing. 

Kerrie is a highly experienced and talented editor with a strong track record of developing amazing products that connect with consumers, and has over 20 years’ publishing experience in the Australian media industry.  

Ms McCallum started with Sunday Style in 2012 and stepped into the role of leading the delicious. brand in September 2014. Ms McCallum joined NewsLifeMedia from Pacific Magazines where she was editor of InStyle Magazine for four years. In 2009 she launched InStyle's inaugural Women of Style awards to celebrate and pay tribute to Australia's most inspiring female talent across a range of disciplines. 

Prior to that Ms McCallum edited Shop Til You Drop magazine for five years. She has written for leading Australian magazines and newspapers, such as Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle and Madison, along with The Australian and Brisbane’s The Sunday Mail, on topics as diverse as health, beauty and fashion, to sport, lifestyle and popular culture.

We wanted to thank the Gen Collective for choosing to partner with our team for this event, as well as our event partners, The White Room, Margan Wines, The Wild Rabbit Catering and Blooms on Darby who worked alongside us to bring our vision for this event to life!
